We started as a Celebration. Members of three sports clubs, Tennis, Pickleball, and Softball planned a dinner dance. The intermingled memberships of these clubs represent almost a third of Valencia Lakes’ 3000 residents. Adding to a great evening of dining and dancing we decided we should accomplish something more – Giving back to our Community.  Since 2017 we have raised more than $242,000 supporting children, veterans, and neighbors in need. 

We are pleased to share that we have grown to add a fourth sports club! Bocce Ball Club has joined the Tennis, Pickleball, and Softball clubs as our newest Sports Charity Club member! Our focus continues to remain local as we give back to our community.

In the spirit of giving back to our community, Valencia Lakes Sports Charity Club is pleased to announce that ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) is the recipient of their 2025 fundraising efforts. ECHO’s mission is to assist residents of Eastern Hillsborough County in crisis with emergency food and clothing, offering life-stabilizing programs and resources.

Throughout the year we will be raising funds for ECHO, culminating in the Valencia Lakes event of the year, the VL Sports Charity Gala on Friday, November 21. Watch for more details to come.
